Pregnancy never ceases to amaze me... Really, it's completely mind blowing what a woman's body is capable of! Last night I stared at my tummy in the mirror watching my active little sweet pea morph my belly into weird shapes, watching her little arms and legs press against my skin and move around inside me (so weird, yet so insanely beautiful). I know my body will never be the same after being my children's first home - visually and physically (btw did you know a piece of your babies DNA always remains with you?!) Even with all of the changes, aches, pains, permanent markers of motherhood, and sleepless nights I just think how incredibly grateful I am to be a part of the miracle of life. // "How can you ever say anything negative about your body after you have felt the dancing of LIFE from inside your womb?" ~ A.
